Opening its first location in Istanbul at Vakko Hotel & Residence Sumahan Bosphorus, Caviar Kaspia offers a memorable journey for the senses, punctuated by unique flavors starring the Parisian restaurant’s famously first-class caviar, perfectly paired with a glass of champagne or a shot of vodka.
The elegance of the restaurant that transports guests to another time and place is a significant element of the Kaspia experience.
Designed as a contemporary oriental version of the Caviar Kaspia concept, the restaurant draws on the same inviting atmosphere that has made the famously chic restaurant a cult favorite since it first opened in Paris in 1927.
Old-world elegance meets comfort with Parisian flavor inside the restaurant, harmonizing with Vakko Hotel & Residence Sumahan Bosphorus’ own timeless aesthetic. Caviar Kaspia’s iconic blue tablecloths are present, as are the wood-paneled walls, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere with the feel of a private club.
Each dish at Caviar Kaspia, including the Parisian restaurant’s signature twice-baked potato topped with caviar, is infused with exciting details and flavors for a truly unforgettable dining experience. Meanwhile the Bar, a real jewel of the venue, serves magnificent craft cocktails accompanied by caviar in a unique environment that blends tradition and modernity. Enhancing the experience further, Caviar Kaspia presents live DJ and jazz performances throughout the week, with special Turkish music performances on Friday nights.

VAKKO MİRASI
Vakko markasının temelleri, Vitali Hakko’nun 1934 yılında İstanbul'un tarihi merkezinde Şen
Şapka adlı küçük bir şapka butiği açmasıyla atılır.
1938 yılında Vitali Hakko, Türkiye'nin ilk ipek boyama atölyesini kurar, marka adını Vakko
olarak değiştirir ve henüz gelişmekte olan ülkenin kadınları için günün modasını yansıtan
eşarplar üretmeye başlar. Takip eden yıllarda Vakko, faaliyet alanlarına farklı alt markalar,
ürün grupları ve hizmetler ekleyerek lüksün simgesi olma yönünde hızlı ve istikrarlı
ilerlemeye geçer.
İlk Vakko mağazası, 1962 yılında, İstanbul’un kalbi Beyoğlu’nda, döneminin Türkiye’deki en
büyük mağazası olarak kapılarını açar. İçinde bir kafe ve galeri de bulunan bu 8 katlı
mağazayı, Ankara ve İzmir’de açılan benzer Vakko mağazaları takip eder.

The story of VAKKO starts with a small millinery shop founded by Vitali Hakko in 1934. Four years later, Vitali Hakko changes the name to Vakko, and sets up Turkey’s first’s silk dyeing workshop in Istanbul, where the foundations of Vakko’s unrivalled expertise are laid. From there on, the company consistently extends its reputation across a number of sub-brands and products.In 1962, the first Vakko store opens in Beyoğlu, in the heart of Istanbul. Complete with a cafe and gallery, the 8-floor store (the largest of its kind in Turkey at the time) is followed by two similar flagship stores in Ankara and Izmir.In 1982, the company introduces Turkey’s first youth-oriented concept store, Vakkorama, which fuses fashion with music, art and sports events, In 1989, Vakko becomes the first fashion brand in Turkey to produce chocolate, and in 1990, the first fashion house in Turkey to launch its signature perfume.
VAKKO HERITAGE
In 1992, Power FM radio station begins broadcasting nationwide, with a mission to bring quality music to the country and evolves into Power Group with multiple stations and an exciting event calendar. In 1998, Vakko introduces Vakko Espace providing full-service event organizations, and in 2001, launches Vakko Wedding, offering exclusive service along with an astonishing selection of top international designer wedding dresses (the largest of its kind in Europe). In 2009, Vakko introduces Vakko Home, bringing its timeless and elegant style to interiors. In 2011, Vitali Hakko Creative Industries Library was founded by Cem Hakko, featuring a wide selection of fashion, architecture, photography, art and cinema titles.In 2013, Vakko establishes Vakko Esmod Fashion School in collaboration with Esmod, the world’s first and oldest fashion school, to train and educate the future generation of fashion designers in Turkey. In 2016, with the opening of the first Vakko Patisserie branch, the Group ventures into hospitality sector, and soon gathers its all F&B services under Vakko L’Atelier branding.
